Welcome to Jim & Willie's Antiques & Collectibles
 In
October of 2008, I opened my little antique store, Jim & Willies Antiques &
Collectibles in the charming, historic town of Duncans Mills, CA. My partner in
this enterprise was my marvelous little Bichon Frise dog, "Willie" who became
known as the resident "dog chief of protocol" for the town. Over the years,
Willie gained quite a following of admirers who came back to the store more
often than not just to see him which always brought a smile to my (Jim's) face.
Sadly, we all had to say goodbye to Willie in May of 2012 after he suffered from
heart issues. I must say, his passing also broke many hearts in the process. To
rectify this situation, I called Willie's breeder, Kay Mitchell, in Fair Oaks,
CA who just happened to have a new little guy waiting for me who is not only a
cousin of Willie's, but also remarkably has the same birthday as me...kismet for
sure! So those who enter our fine establishment are now greeted warmly with a
smile and a wagging tail by my new little sidekick, Davey Jones.
The shoppe is a whimsical mix of items from the "sublime to the ridiculous" and includes a vintage cigar store Indian from a Hollywood movie set; a carousel horse from Atlantic City and a treasure trove of other antiques and collectibilies from several eras. We welcome all to be transported back in time in our English inspired , cozy nook that is inviting and appealing to all the senses and comfortable for browsing for that "special hidden treasure".
These photos are of the store entrance and an old English watch maker's shop sign. (Circa mid 1800's) from London that was converted to a bakery sign in the US. We are located in the Country Stores Courtyard and our hours of business are 11am - 5pm daily, closed Tuesday & Wednesday. Hope to see you soon!
